Potato cheese casserole
Ingredients/Components
- shredded Cheddar cheese - 3 oz
- salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
- onion flakes - 2 Tbsp
- dry parsley flakes - 1 tsp
- eggs or egg substitute - 2 item
- potatoes, thinly sliced - 12 oz
- low-fat or nonfat cottage cheese - 1 c
How to make potato cheese casserole:
Preheat oven to 350°. Place 1/2 of potatoes in a 1 to 1 1/2-quart baking dish that has been sprayed with nonstick spray. Top with 1/2 of the Cheddar cheese, then remaining potatoes and remaining Cheddar cheese. In a blender, combine the remaining ingredients. Blend until smooth. Pour mixture evenly over potatoes. Bake, uncovered, for 30 minutes or until light brown. Serves 6.Recipe categories: Side dish, Potato, Casseroles.
