Ingredients/Components

  • oil - 2 Tbsp
  • soy sauce - 1 c
  • minced garlic - 1 tsp
  • medium onion, chopped - 1 item
  • green pepper, chopped - 1 item
  • beef broth - 1/2 c
  • fresh ginger - 1 Tbsp
  • roast - 1 (3
  • small carrots - 1 pkg
  • to 8 small potatoes, peeled - 6 item
  • to 8 medium onions, peeled - 6 item

How to make pot roast:

Brown roast on both sides in skillet (without oil), then place in crock-pot. Take chopped onion, chopped green pepper, fresh ginger and minced garlic; stir-fry in oil in skillet until tender. Add soy sauce and beef broth; bring to a boil and pour over roast. Add whole potatoes, onions and carrots. Cook for 4 to 5 hours, or until meat is tender. Baste vegetables every hour.
