Polynesian pork chops
Ingredients/Components
- honey - 1/2 c
- ground ginger - 1/4 tsp
- soy sauce - 2 Tbsp
- can pineapple slices - 1 oz
- 3/4 inch thick pork chops - 6 item
How to make polynesian pork chops:
Preheat broiler. Place pork chops on broiler pan; broil 4 to 5 inches from heat, approximately 8 minutes. Turn chops and broil 6 minutes more.Meanwhile, drain pineapple slices, reserving 2 tablespoons juice. Combine honey, reserved juice, soy sauce and ginger. Place 1 pineapple slice atop each chop. Broil 5 to 8 minutes more, basting frequently with honey-ginger mixture. Spoon remaining honey mixture over pork chops before serving.
