Barbecue pork roast
Ingredients/Components
- cider vinegar - 1/4 c
- honey - 2/3 c
- ground ginger - 1/2 tsp
- Worcestershire sauce - 1 tsp
- chopped onion - 1/4 c
- soy sauce - 1/4 c
- can tomato sauce - 1 item
- clove garlic - 1 item
- dash of salt and pepper - 1 item
- dry sherry - 2/3 c
- pork roast - 5 6
- dashes hot sauce - 4 item
- barbecue sauce homemade or store bought - 1 item
How to make barbecue pork roast:
Combine all ingredients; simmer 15 minutes. Cook roast in crock-pot on low 8 hours or cook in oven at 300° for 2 1/2 hours (wrap well in foil if baked in oven). Let cool, shred meat removing fat and bone. Place shredded pork in baking pan, pouring all sauce in mixture; mix well. Heat for 30 minutes at 300°.Recipe categories: Meat, Pork, Pork loins.
