Polish reuben casserole
Ingredients/Components
- pkg - 1 oz
- milk
- butter, melted - 2 Tbsp
- chopped onion - 1/2 c
- prepared mustard - 1 Tbsp
- shredded Swiss cheese - 2 c
- cans cream of mushroom soup - 2 3/4
- Polish sausage, cut into 1/2-inch pieces
- cans sauerkraut, rinsed and drained - 2 oz
- whole wheat breadcrumbs - 3/4 c
How to make polish reuben casserole:
Combine soup, milk, onion and mustard in medium bowl. Blend well. Spread sauerkraut in greased 13 x 9-inch pan. Top with uncooked noodles. Spoon soup mixture evenly over top. Top with sausage and then cheese.Combine crumbs and butter in small bowl. Sprinkle over top. Cover pan tightly with foil. Bake in preheated 350° oven for 1 hour or until noodles are tender.
