  • eggs - 4 item
  • milk - 1 c
  • butter or margarine - 1 c
  • flour - 3 c
  • vanilla flavoring - 1 tsp
  • baking powder - 2 tsp

How to make plain cake:

Cream butter and sugar, add eggs, milk and flour. Beat and add 1 teaspoon of lemon or vanilla flavoring, but not both. Cook about 1 hour at 350°.
