Pizza casserole
Ingredients/Components
- margarine - 1/3 c
- chopped onion - 1 item
- chopped green pepper - 1 item
- ground beef - 1 lb
- oregano - 1/2 tsp
- basil - 1/2 tsp
- cans tomato sauce - 2 oz
- Mozzarella cheese - 1 (16
- can mushrooms - 1 item
- Swiss cheese, grated - 1 c
- sliced pepperoni - 4 oz
- extra thin spaghetti - 5 oz
How to make pizza casserole:
Saute beef, pepperoni, onion, pepper, oregano and basil lightly. Melt butter and place in 2 1/2-quart baking dish or 11 x 13-inch pan. Toss cooked spaghetti with butter. Cover with 1 can tomato sauce. Add half the cheese, half the meat mixture and the mushrooms. Add remaining cheese and meat. Top with the second can of tomato sauce.
