Pistachio dessert
Ingredients/Components
- flour - 1 c
- stick butter - 1 item
- plus 1 tsp - 1/2 c
- cream cheese - 8 oz
- powdered sugar - 1 c
- large Cool Whip or 2 regular size
- instant vanilla pudding - 1 pkg
- instant pistachio pudding - 1 pkg
- milk - 3 c
How to make pistachio dessert:
Layer 1: Mix like pie crust the flour, butter and 1 cup chopped nuts; pat in bottom of 13 x 9 x 2 pan. Bake 10 minutes at 350°. Let cool.Layer 2: Whip cream cheese, powdered sugar and 1 cup Cool Whip. Spread over crust.
Layer 3: Mix vanilla, pistachio pudding and milk until thick; spread on 2nd layer. Top with remaining Cool Whip and 1/2 teaspoon chopped nuts. Make day before serving or several hours before.
