Ingredients/Components
- shortening - 1 tsp
- chopped onion - 1/3 c
- chili powder - 1 tsp
- ground beef - 1 lb
- can tomatoes - 1 item
- Worcestershire - 2/4 tsp
- corn bread batter - 1 c
- drained pintos - 1 c
How to make pinto bean casserole:
Brown meat and onion in shortening. Add seasonings and tomatoes. Cover and simmer. Add beans. Pour meat mixture in greased casserole dish. Top with corn bread batter. Bake at 425° for 20 minutes.Recipe categories: Vegetables, Main dish, Beans.
