Pinto bean cake

Ingredients/Components

• sugar - 1 c
• cinnamon - 1 tsp
• vanilla - 1 tsp
• salt - 1/2 tsp
• flour - 1 c
• butter - 1/2 c
• soda - 1 tsp
• raisins - 1 c
• nuts, chopped - 1/2 c
• cloves - 1/2 tsp
• allspice - 1/2 tsp
• egg, beaten - 1 item
• mashed pinto beans - 2 c
• raw apples, diced - 2 c

How to make pinto bean cake:

Cream sugar and butter; add beaten egg. Add beans. Sift all dry ingredients together and add to sugar mixture. Add apples, raisins, nuts and vanilla. Pour into greased 10-inch tube or loaf pan. Bake 45 minutes at 375°.
