Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 c
- cinnamon - 1 tsp
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- flour - 1 c
- butter - 1/2 c
- soda - 1 tsp
- raisins - 1 c
- nuts, chopped - 1/2 c
- cloves - 1/2 tsp
- allspice - 1/2 tsp
- egg, beaten - 1 item
- mashed pinto beans - 2 c
- raw apples, diced - 2 c
How to make pinto bean cake:
Cream sugar and butter; add beaten egg. Add beans. Sift all dry ingredients together and add to sugar mixture. Add apples, raisins, nuts and vanilla. Pour into greased 10-inch tube or loaf pan. Bake 45 minutes at 375°.Recipe categories: Desserts, Cakes, < 4 hours.
