  • baking powder - 2 tsp
  • pineapple juice from canned pineapple - 6 Tbsp
  • egg whites, stiffly beaten - 3 item
  • stick butter - 1/2 item
  • brown sugar - 1 c
  • sliced pineapple - 1 item
  • cherries - 1 item
  • pecans - 1 item

How to make pineapple upside-down cake:

Beat egg yolks and sugar until light. Add flour, baking powder and juice. Fold in egg whites. Melt 1/2 stick butter and 1 cup brown sugar in skillet. Arrange sliced pineapple, cherries and pecans in bottom. Add batter and bake at 350° for 30 to 40 minutes.
