- sugar - 1 c
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- eggs, separated - 2 item
- baking powder - 2 tsp
- stick butter - 1 item
- small can crushed pineapple - 1 item
- sweet milk - 1 c
- pecans, chopped - 1 c
- crumbs - 32 crackers,
How to make pineapple tarts:
Topping:1 c. sugar1 small can crushed pineapple Cream butter and sugar. Add egg yolks and baking powder. Add milk and crackers. Add vanilla and nuts. Add stiffly beaten egg whites. Pour into baking cups placed into muffin tin about 2/3 full. Bake in 350° oven until set.Cook topping until thick. Place 1 teaspoon of topping on each muffin while warm. Top with a maraschino cherry.
