Ingredients/Components
- sugar
- vanilla - 2 tsp
- milk - 1/2 c
- flour - 4 Tbsp
- egg yolks - 3 item
- baking powder
- pinch of salt - 1 item
- Crisco - 2 Tbsp
- large can crushed pineapple - 1 item
- Cake:2 sticks oleo
- Add flour, salt and baking powder alternately with milk

How to make pineapple squares:
Cook until thick and set aside to cool.Cake:2 sticks oleo2 Tbsp. Crisco2 Tbsp. sugar3 egg yolks2 c. flour1 1/2 tsp. baking powder pinch of salt1/2 c. milk For Cake: Cream oleo, Crisco, sugar and egg yolks until creamy. Add flour, salt and baking powder alternately with milk. Spread on well-greased and floured cookie sheet and bake 20 minutes at 350°. Let cool before you spread pineapple filling on top.Topping:1 c. Crisco3/4 c. sugar1 small (5 1/3 oz.) can "cold" evaporated milk2 tsp. vanilla Beat together very long so it gets good and fluffy, at least 15 minutes.
