Pineapple cookies

Ingredients/Components

• sugar
• salt - 1/2 tsp
• chopped nuts - 1 c
• flour
• nutmeg - 1/4 tsp
• baking soda - 1 tsp
• egg - 1 item
• shortening - 1 c
• can crushed pineapple with juice - 1 oz

How to make pineapple cookies:

Sift dry ingredients. Cream shortening, sugar and egg. Add dry ingredients, nuts and pineapple. Drop by teaspoon onto lightly greased cookie sheet. Bake at 400° for 8 to 10 minutes. Makes 5 dozen.
