Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 c
- salt - 1 Tbsp
- vinegar - 2 c
- celery seed - 1/2 tsp
- mustard seed - 1 tsp
- sliced cucumbers - 7 c
- sliced onions - 1 c
- sliced bell peppers - 1 c
How to make pickles:
Pour salt over the cucumbers, onions and bell peppers. Let stand for 2 hours. Drain; do not wash. Pack in jars after drained. Bring to a boil remaining ingredients. Let boil 3 minutes. Let cool and then pour in jars over cucumbers, onions and peppers. Wait 3 weeks before eating. Keep in refrigerator.Recipe categories: Low protein, Snacks, Vegetables.
