Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 3 c
- vinegar - 2 c
- celery seed - 2 Tbsp
- sliced onion - 2 c
- mustard seed - 2 Tbsp
- sliced squash - 8 c
- sweet peppers, sliced - 4 item
How to make pickled squash:
Soak first 3 ingredients in 2 tablespoons salt water for 1 hour. Mix next 4 ingredients together and bring to rolling boil. Add squash and onion; bring to rolling boil. Take off heat. Stir in peppers and can.Recipe categories: Lunch/snacks, Snacks, Squash.
