Ingredients/Components

  • sugar - 3 c
  • vinegar - 2 c
  • celery seed - 2 Tbsp
  • sliced onion - 2 c
  • mustard seed - 2 Tbsp
  • sliced squash - 8 c
  • sweet peppers, sliced - 4 item

How to make pickled squash:

Soak first 3 ingredients in 2 tablespoons salt water for 1 hour. Mix next 4 ingredients together and bring to rolling boil. Add squash and onion; bring to rolling boil. Take off heat. Stir in peppers and can.
