Pickled okra
Ingredients/Components
- fresh okra
- hot peppers - 4 item
- garlic buds - 4 item
- vinegar - 1 pt
- water - 1 qt
- pickling salt - 1/3 c
- dill seed - 2 tsp
How to make pickled okra:
You will need 4 pint jars.Poke holes in okra with tongs of fork. Pack into sterilized jars. Put 1 hot pepper and 1 garlic bud in each jar. Combine and boil vinegar, water, pickling salt and dill seed. Pour into jars over okra. Seal. Process in hot water bath for 10 minutes.
