Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 3/4 c
- large eggs - 1 doz
- white vinegar - 1 qt
- pickling spice - 1/4 c
How to make pickled eggs:
Boil eggs and shell. Pack in a 1/2-gallon jar. In large saucepan, heat vinegar, sugar and pickling spice. Pour hot vinegar over eggs. Cover. Put in fridge overnight. Use as needed. You can also add a sliced onion and a 28 ounce can of whole beets to eggs to use as Easter relish.Recipe categories: Egg, Lunch/snacks, Appetizers.
