Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 c
- cinnamon - 1/2 tsp
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- chopped nuts - 1 c
- flour - 2 c
- nutmeg - 1/2 tsp
- baking soda - 1/2 tsp
- egg - 1 item
- shortening - 1/2 c
- raisins - 1 c
- cloves - 1/2 tsp
- persimmon pulp - 1 c
How to make persimmon cookies:
Cream shortening and sugar. Add beaten egg. Sift together dry ingredients. Add alternately with persimmon pulp. Stir in nuts and raisins. Drop by teaspoons on cookie sheet. Bake 15 minutes at 350°. Makes about 1 1/2 dozen cookies.Recipe categories: Desserts, Drop cookies, Cookie and brownie.
