  • cinnamon - 2 tsp
  • salt - 1/2 tsp
  • flour - 2 c
  • nutmeg - 1 tsp
  • soda - 1 tsp
  • egg - 1 item
  • shortening - 1/2 c
  • nuts - 1 2
  • raisins - 1 c
  • cloves - 1 tsp
  • persimmon pulp - 1 c

How to make persimmon cookies:

Mix pulp, soda, sugar and shortening until creamy. Add egg, sifted flour and spices. Drop from spoon and bake at 375° for 12 minutes. Check. Makes 4 dozen.
