Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 3 c
- oil - 1 c
- eggs - 4 item
- water - 2/3 c
- persimmon pulp - 2 c
- flour
- soda - 2 tsp
- salt - 1 tsp
- cinnamon - 1 tsp
- nutmeg - 1 tsp
- chopped nuts - 1 c
- pitted dates - 1 c
How to make persimmon bread:
Mix well the sugar, oil and eggs, then add other ingredients. Grease and flour 4 (1 pound) coffee tins. Fill each can 1/2 full and bake 1 hour in a 350° oven. Let cool before removing from can.For freezing, leave in coffee can and seal with coffee can lid.
