Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 Tbsp
- salt - 2 tsp
- water - 1/2 c
- vinegar - 1 Tbsp
- large egg - 1 item
- unsifted all-purpose flour - 4 c
- Crisco shortening
How to make perfect pie crust:
Put dry ingredients into bowl and mix well with a fork. Add shortening and mix well with a pastry blender until ingredients are crumbly. In a small bowl, beat together 1/2 cup water, vinegar and egg. Combine the 2 mixtures, stirring until all ingredients are moistened. Divide dough into 5 portions and shape into flat rounds. Wrap in waxed paper and chill at least 1/2 hour before using.
