Ingredients/Components
- butter - 2 Tbsp
- cornstarch - 2 Tbsp
- water - 1/4 c
- soy sauce - 1/4 c
- green onions, chopped - 1/2 c
- can beef broth - 1 item
- large green pepper, sliced - 1 item
- round steak - 1 1
- large tomato, quartered - 1 item
- Season All - 1 item
- rice, cooked separately - 1 item
How to make pepper steak:
Sprinkle steak with Season All. Melt butter and brown meat. Pour in beef broth. Cover and simmer 30 to 45 minutes. Add onions and bell pepper. Cover and cook 5 minutes. Add soy sauce, water and cornstarch. Stir together and pour over meat. Cook until sauce starts to thicken (approximately 1 to 2 minutes). Add tomatoes. Do not cook any longer!
