Ingredients/Components

  • milk - 1/2 c
  • salt - 2 tsp
  • water
  • beaten egg - 1 item
  • chopped onion - 2 Tbsp
  • chili powder - 1 tsp
  • ground beef - 1 lb
  • uncooked rice - 2/3 c
  • ground pork - 1 lb
  • canned tomatoes

How to make chili balls:

Mix beef, pork, egg, rice, milk, 1 teaspoon chili powder and salt. Form into small balls. Brown in hot fryer. Combine tomatoes, water, onion, salt and remaining chili powder. Bring to a boil. Drop balls into mixture. Cover and cook slowly for 1 1/2 hours.
