Ingredients/Components
- milk - 1/2 c
- salt - 2 tsp
- water
- beaten egg - 1 item
- chopped onion - 2 Tbsp
- chili powder - 1 tsp
- ground beef - 1 lb
- uncooked rice - 2/3 c
- ground pork - 1 lb
- canned tomatoes
How to make chili balls:
Mix beef, pork, egg, rice, milk, 1 teaspoon chili powder and salt. Form into small balls. Brown in hot fryer. Combine tomatoes, water, onion, salt and remaining chili powder. Bring to a boil. Drop balls into mixture. Cover and cook slowly for 1 1/2 hours.Recipe categories: Low sodium, Main dish, Meatballs.
