Ingredients/Components
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- chopped pecans - 1 item
- pkg - 1 oz
- flour - 1 c
- brown sugar
- egg - 1 item
- stick butter - 1 item
- dash of salt - 1 item
- soft butter - 1 Tbsp
How to make pecan tassies:
Filling:3/4 c. brown sugar1 tsp. vanilla1 egg1 Tbsp. soft butter dash of salt chopped pecans Dough: Cream together well the cream cheese and butter. Add flour, blending well. Chill about 1 hour. Fill 2 dozen (1 3/4-inch) muffins pan by pressing dough around sides and bottom.Filling: Put about 1/2 teaspoon or more of chopped pecans in each cup. Mix together the brown sugar, vanilla, egg, soft butter and salt in a small bowl. Beat with a fork until smooth. Put 1 teaspoon filling over nuts in each cup. Put a few pecans on top. Bake at 325° for 25 minutes.
