  • sugar - 2 c
  • vanilla - 2 tsp
  • stick butter, melted - 1 item
  • pecans - 1 c
  • 9-inch pie shell unbaked - 1 item
  • to 8 eggs - 6 item
  • maple Karo syrup - 1 c

How to make pecan pie:

Mix sugar and syrup. Pour over well beaten eggs. Add vanilla and butter. Mix well. Pour into unbaked pie shell. Put nuts on top. Bake at 400° for 15 minutes; reduce heat to 350° and bake 30 more minutes.
