Ingredients/Components
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- brown sugar - 1 c
- butter - 1/4 c
- eggs, beaten - 3 item
- pecan halves
- dark Karo syrup - 1 c
- 9-inch unbaked pie shell - 1 item
How to make pecan pie:
Cream butter and sugar together until fluffy; add next 4 ingredients. Sprinkle pecans on bottom of pie shell. Pour the filling over pecans. Bake at 450° for 10 minutes; reduce heat to 350° and bake 35 minutes longer.Recipe categories: Desserts, Pie, Pies and tarts.
