Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 c
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- salt - 1/8 tsp
- flour - 2 Tbsp
- white Karo syrup - 1 c
- oleo, melted - 1/3 c
- eggs, slightly beaten - 3 item
- pecans, coarsely chopped - 1 c
- 9-inch unbaked pie shell
How to make pecan pie:
Melt oleo, set aside to cool slightly. Mix together, eggs, syrup, salt, sugar and vanilla. Add cooled oleo. Mix flour with pecans. Add to first mixture. Pour into unbaked pie shell. Bake at 375° about 40 to 50 minutes until set. The center will be slightly soft.Recipe categories: Desserts, Pie, Pies and tarts.
