Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 lb
- eggs - 6 item
- butter - 1 lb
- baking powder - 1 tsp
- lemon extract
- white raisins - 1 lb
- flour all-purpose - 1 lb
- shelled pecans - 1 lb
How to make pecan cake:
Cream butter, sugar and eggs (one at a time), beating well after each egg. Add extract and flour (sifted with baking powder). Last, add nuts and raisins to which some of the flour has been sifted on top and coated the fruit. Bake at 275° for 2 1/2 hours.Recipe categories: Desserts, Cakes, Fruit.
