  • butter, softened - 2 Tbsp
  • sugar - 1/2 c
  • cinnamon - 2 tsp
  • chopped nuts - 1/4 c
  • 8 count cans crescent rolls - 2 item
  • butter, melted for topping - 2 Tbsp

How to make pecan breakfast bread:

Grease a 9 x 5-inch loaf pan. Unroll crescent rolls and lay on wax paper. Spread each piece with butter; set aside. Mix sugar, cinnamon and nuts together. Sprinkle this mixture on each piece of dough. Roll dough, starting at long end. Place in loaf pan 8 rolls on bottom, then place 8 on top. Bake at 350° for 30 to 35 minutes. Remove from pan while hot. Top side up, sprinkle with broken nuts. Drizzle topping onto loaf.
