cinnamon - 1 tsp
eggs - 2 item
vanilla - 1 tsp
milk - 3 Tbsp
chopped nuts - 1/2 c
flour
brown sugar - 2 Tbsp
nutmeg - 1 tsp
soda - 1 tsp
pinch of salt - 1 item
shortening - 1/2 c
diced apples - 3 c
dash of cloves - 1 item

How to make swedish apple cake:

Topping:3 Tbsp. butter, softened3 Tbsp. milk2 Tbsp. brown sugar Cream sugar and shortening. Add eggs, salt and vanilla. Sift spices and soda into flour; add to sugar mixture. Add apples and nuts. Mix well. Bake at 350° for 35 minutes in a greased 9 x 9 x 2-inch pan. Mix topping ingredients; spoon over cake. Return to oven for 25 minutes.
