Ingredients/Components
- vanilla
- chopped pecans - 1/2 c
- milk - 2 Tbsp
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- flour
- powdered sugar - 3/4 c
- box confectioners sugar - 1 item
- quick oats - 1 c
- butter flavor Crisco - 1 c
How to make pecan balls:
Heat oven at 325°. Combine butter Crisco, 3/4 cup powdered sugar, milk and vanilla in large bowl. Beat at medium speed until well blended. Combine flour, oats and salt into mixture. Round teaspoon of mixture into balls. Place 2 inches apart on ungreased baking sheet. Bake at 325° for 15 to 18 minutes or until bottoms are light golden brown. Cool 2 minutes on baking sheet. Roll in sugar while warm. Cool completely on cooling rack. Re-roll in sugar. Makes about 4 dozen.Recipe categories: Desserts, Cookie and brownie, Hand Formed cookies.
