Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 3 lb
- cinnamon - 2 Tbsp
- nutmeg - 2 Tbsp
- vinegar - 1/2 c
- raisins - 2 lb
- allspice - 2 Tbsp
- apples - 4 lb
- pears - 6 lb
How to make pear mincemeat:
Peel and core fruits. Coarsely grind or chop fruit. Combine all ingredients and bring to a boil. Simmer 1 hour. Pack hot in sterilized jars and seal.Recipe categories: Desserts, Pies and tarts, Condiments, etc..
