Peanut butter fudge
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 3 c
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- milk - 1 c
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- chopped nuts - 3/4 c
- butter - 2 Tbsp
- cocoa - 1/2 c
- light corn syrup - 2 Tbsp
- peanut butter - 1/3 c
How to make peanut butter fudge:
Combine sugar, salt, cocoa, milk and corn syrup. Cook, stirring constantly, over medium heat until sugar dissolves. Continue to cook, stirring occasionally, until 234° or to soft ball stage. Remove from heat; add butter and peanut butter. Do not stir! Cool to 110°; add vanilla and nuts. Beat until fudge becomes creamy and loses its gloss.
