Peanut butter cookies

Ingredients/Components

• sugar - 1 c
• eggs - 2 item
• butter or margarine - 1/2 c
• salt - 1/2 tsp
• flour
• brown sugar - 1 c
• soda
• baking powder - 1 tsp
• shortening - 1/2 c
• peanut butter - 1 c

How to make peanut butter cookies:

Cream the shortening, butter, peanut butter, sugar, brown sugar and eggs. Blend in sugar and salt. Cover and chill for 2 hours. Heat oven to 375°. Shape dough into balls. Flatten with fork in crisscross pattern to 2 inches. Bake 10 to 12 minutes or until set.
