Peanut butter cookies
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/2 c
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- milk - 2 Tbsp
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- baking soda - 1 tsp
- egg - 1 item
- margarine or butter, softened - 1/2 c
- firmly packed brown sugar - 1/2 c
- peanut butter - 1/2 c
- all-purpose or unbleached flour
How to make peanut butter cookies:
Heat oven to 375°. In large bowl, beat sugar, brown sugar and margarine until light and fluffy. Add peanut butter, milk, vanilla and egg; blend well. Lightly spoon flour into measuring cup; level off. Stir in flour, baking soda and salt; mix well. Shape dough into 1-inch balls. Place 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheets. Flatten in crisscross pattern with fork dipped in sugar. Bake at 375° for 10 to 12 minutes or until golden brown. Immediately remove from cookie sheets.
