Peanut butter cookies
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 c
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- flour - 3 c
- water - 2 Tbsp
- soda
- eggs, beaten - 2 item
- Crisco - 1 c
- brown sugar, packed - 1 c
- crunchy peanut butter - 1 c
How to make peanut butter cookies:
Cream Crisco; gradually add sugars, beating until light and fluffy. Add eggs and water, beating well. Combine all dry ingredients, add to creamed mixture and mix well. Stir in peanut butter. Shape into balls; place 3 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet. Dip a glass bottom in sugar and flatten balls of cookie dough. Bake at 375° for 10 to 12 minutes.
