Peanut brittle candy

Ingredients/Components

• vanilla - 1 tsp
• butter - 1 Tbsp
• water - 1/2 c
• soda - 2 tsp
• light corn syrup - 1/2 c
• white sugar - 1 c
• raw peanuts - 1 c

How to make peanut brittle candy:

Boil sugar, syrup, water and peanuts until peanuts start popping; let pop two or three minutes. Remove from heat. Add butter, vanilla and soda. Mix well and pour onto buttered cookie sheet. Do not try to spread! Candy will be ready to break in about 10 minutes.
