Ingredients/Components

  • sugar - 1/3 c
  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • milk - 2 Tbsp
  • salt - 1/2 tsp
  • flour
  • brown sugar - 1/3 c
  • baking soda - 1 tsp
  • egg - 1 item
  • shortening - 1/2 c
  • peanut butter - 3/4 c

How to make peanut blossoms:

Cream shortening and peanut butter. Add sugar, egg, milk and vanilla. Beat well. Add remaining ingredients. Blend well. Shape dough in balls the size of walnuts and roll in sugar. Place on cookie sheet. Bake at 375° for 10 to 12 minutes. Remove from oven and immediately place 1 Kiss in center of each cookie.
