Peanut blossom cookies

Ingredients/Components

• vanilla - 1 tsp
• milk - 2 Tbsp
• salt - 1/2 tsp
• flour
• brown sugar - 1/2 c
• soda - 1 tsp
• egg - 1 item
• shortening - 1/2 c
• peanut butter - 1/2 c
• white sugar - 1/2 c
• to 3 dozen chocolate kisses - 2 item

How to make peanut blossom cookies:

Cream together the shortening and peanut butter. Add the brown sugar and white sugar; beat. Beat in the egg, milk and vanilla. Stir in the flour, soda and salt. Shape by teaspoon into balls; roll in sugar. Place on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 375° for 8 minutes. Remove from oven and add a chocolate candy kiss. Press down so that cookie cracks around the edges. Return to oven and bake 2 to 5 minutes, until done.
