Ingredients/Components

• eggs - 2 item
• milk - 3/4 c
• salt - 1/2 tsp
• flour - 2 c
• brown sugar - 1/2 c
• butter - 1/2 c
• baking powder
• bag chocolate chips - 1 (6
• white sugar - 1/2 c
• drained maraschino cherries - 1 c
• powdered sugar frosting - 1 item

How to make treasure chest bars:

Cream together butter and sugars; blend in eggs and teaspoon of vanilla flavoring. Sift flour and baking powder together. Add alternately with 3/4 cup milk. Beat 2 minutes with mixer. Add cherries and chocolate chips. Spread in greased cookie sheet. Bake at 350° for 25 to 30 minutes. Ice with powdered sugar frosting.
