  • sugar - 1/2 c
  • cinnamon - 1/2 tsp
  • salt - 1/2 tsp
  • flour
  • egg, slightly beaten - 1 item
  • margarine - 1/2 c
  • 14 oz - 1 lb
  • Carnation canned milk - 1 c

How to make peach custard cake:

Butter an 8-inch square pan. Mix flour, salt and margarine. Spread in pan. Drain peaches, but save 1/2 cup of the syrup. Arrange peaches on crust in pan. Sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon. Bake for 20 minutes at 350°. Mix 1/2 cup peach syrup, egg and Carnation milk. Pour over peaches. Bake at 350° until custard is firm. Serves 10 to 12 people.
