Peach cobbler
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 c
- cinnamon - 1/4 tsp
- milk - 1 c
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- baking powder - 2 tsp
- all-purpose flour - 1 c
- stick butter - 1 item
- chopped walnuts - 1/2 c
- light brown sugar - 1/4 c
- approximately - 1 can
How to make peach cobbler:
Drain peaches; set aside. Melt butter in a 2-quart baking dish. Combine remaining ingredients, except brown sugar and walnuts, in mixing bowl until a smooth batter is formed. Pour batter into baking dish over melted butter and spread drained sliced peaches over the top of the batter. Combine brown sugar and walnuts and sprinkle over peaches. Preheat oven to 350° and bake 1 hour or until browned and toothpick inserted into center comes out clean. Serve hot with vanilla ice cream.Recipe categories: Desserts, Cobblers and crisps, Peaches.
