Peach cobbler
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 c
- milk - 3/4 c
- flour - 3/4 c
- pinch of salt - 1 item
- stick butter - 1/2 item
- sliced peaches - 3 c
- baking powder if you use plain flour - 2 tsp
How to make peach cobbler:
Prepare sliced peaches and mix with 1 cup sugar. Set oven at 350°. Put half stick of butter in a very deep baking dish. Set in oven to melt.Stir up a batter of 1/2 cup sugar, flour, baking powder, pinch of salt and milk. Pour this over melted butter but do not stir. Put sugar and sliced peaches on top. Do not stir. Bake in a moderate oven for one hour. The batter will rise to the top while baking and the top will be crisp and brown. Serve with ice cream if desired.
