Ingredients/Components

  • sugar - 3/4 c
  • vanilla - 1/2 tsp
  • cornstarch - 1 tsp
  • pinch of salt - 1 item
  • vinegar - 1 tsp
  • egg whites - 3 item

How to make pavlova:

Cooking time: 1 1/2 hours. Temperature: 250°. You will need a pizza pan or cookie sheet.

Line pan with wax paper. Beat egg whites and salt until real stiff. Beat in half the sugar. Mix cornstarch with the rest of the sugar and fold in. Add vanilla and vinegar and mix. Spread on sheet and bake. As soon as it comes out of the oven, turn over to wax paper side and peel wax paper off of bottom. (The bottom becomes the top.) Cool. Spread with Cool Whip and top with fruit, any fresh fruit. I triple the recipe.
