Ingredients/Components
- vegetable oil - 1/3 c
- clove garlic, minced - 1 item
- salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
- chopped fresh parsley or 1 Tbsp - 2 Tbsp
- twirl pasta - 1/2 pkg
- Rinse and chill
- fresh chopped basil leaves or 1 tsp - 2 Tbsp
How to make pasta salad:
Boil pasta according to package directions. Rinse and chill.Dressing:1/3 c. white vinegar1/3 c. vegetable oil2 Tbsp. chopped fresh parsley or 1 Tbsp. dried2 Tbsp. fresh chopped basil leaves or 1 tsp. dried1 clove garlic, minced salt and pepper to taste Whisk all ingredients together and chill. Pour over pasta mixed with fresh, chopped salad ingredients such as: bell peppers, onions, tomatoes, mushrooms, cucumbers, yellow squash, pimentos and ripe or green olives.Recipe categories: Appetizers, Salads, Pasta.
