Ingredients/Components

  • butter or margarine - 3 Tbsp
  • clove garlic, minced - 1 item
  • grated Parmesan cheese - 1/3 c
  • chopped onion - 1/2 c
  • dried thyme, crushed - 1 tsp
  • cashews - 1 c
  • salt and pepper - 1/4 tsp
  • broccoli flowerets - 2 c
  • dry wine optional - 1/4 c
  • fresh or frozen pea pods - 1 c
  • cooked linguine - 3 c
  • carrots, bias sliced - 2 item

How to make pasta primavera:

In a 10-inch skillet, melt butter or margarine. Stir in broccoli, carrots, onion, garlic, thyme, salt and pepper. Cook 5 minutes or until broccoli is crisp-tender. Add pea pods and cashews. Cook 2 minutes more. Add wine, if desired.

Toss pasta with vegetables and cheese. Makes 4 servings.
