Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- whipping cream - 1 c
- grated Parmesan cheese - 1 c
- chicken broth - 1/2 c
- olive oil - 1 Tbsp
- fresh asparagus - 1 lb
- medium onion, chopped - 1 item
- green onions, chopped - 3 item
- ground pepper - 1/4 tsp
- fresh mushrooms, sliced - 1/2 lb
- fresh broccoli flowerets - 2 c
- large clove garlic, chopped - 1 item
- chopped fresh basil or 2 tsp - 2 Tbsp
- uncooked linguine, broken - 8 oz
- medium sweet red pepper, coarsely chopped - 1 item
- medium sweet yellow pepper, coarsely chopped - 1 item
- large carrot, diagonally sliced - 1 item
How to make pasta primavera:
Snap off tough ends of asparagus. Remove scales with a vegetable peeler if desired. Cut asparagus diagonally into 1 1/2 inch pieces.
