Ingredients/Components
- cooking oil - 1/4 c
- cloves garlic, minced - 2 item
- soy sauce - 2 Tbsp
- chicken broth
- medium onion, minced - 1 item
- salt or to taste - 1 tsp
- small cabbage, shredded - 1 item
- scallion, chopped - 1 item
- large carrot, sliced - 1 item
- boiled pork, sliced or sliced chicken breast - 1 c
- bundle rice sticks Bijon, soaked, drained and cut - 1 item
- pieces Chinese sausage, fried and sliced - 2 item
- Aji-no-moto, MSG optional - 1 tsp
How to make pancit:
Saut?© garlic in cooking oil. Add onions, pork (or chicken), carrot and cabbage; season with soy sauce. Add broth; simmer. Mix in rice sticks (Bijon); season with salt to taste and MSG (optional). Garnish with Chinese sausage and scallions. May also serve with hard-boiled egg, cut up or scrambled egg, cut in strips.Recipe categories: Pasta, Main dish, Pork.
