Overnight salad
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/2 c
- cornstarch - 2 tsp
- egg yolks - 2 item
- cold water - 2 c
- boiling water - 2 c
- miniature marshmallows - 1 item
- bananas, sliced - 4 item
- pineapple juice - 1 c
- crushed pineapple, drained - 1 c
- lemon gelatin - 2 pkg
- prepared topping mix - 1 pkg
How to make overnight salad:
Dissolve gelatin according to package directions. Add pineapple and bananas after gelatin cools a little. Let gelatin almost set; cover with miniature marshmallows. Cook egg yolks, pineapple juice, cornstarch and sugar in double boiler until thick; let cool. Whip the topping mix according to package directions; mix with cooked mixture.
